by August 28th, 2021

The United Kingdom has advised its citizens against non-essential travel to Jamaica.

In the update posted on its website today (August 28), the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, said this is due to the current assessment of Covid-19 risks in the country.

Earlier this week, there were speculations that Jamaica would be placed on the United Kingdom’s travel red list following the latest surge in Covid-19 cases, however the country remains on the amber list.
