Jamaican students, who sought refuge in Ukraine’s underground metro system in Kharkiv, during Russia’s invasion have boarded a train to a next city, Uzhhorod.

One student told IRIE FM news that efforts to board a train earlier today (February 25) were futile, due to a stampede when hundreds of people tried to escape Kharkiv, which has become the site of explosions, as Russia continues its assault.

The student explained that another attempt to leave was made afterwards and they managed to board a train, which departed moments ago.
