The Electoral Office of Jamaica says preliminary counting of ballots for the by-election in the Portland Eastern constituency is complete. The results are as follows:

The voter turnout was 53.7 per cent. The voter turnout for the Portland Eastern constituency in the 2016 General Election was 43.93 per cent.
The final counting of votes will begin tomorrow, Friday, April 5 at the Port Antonio High School starting at 10 a.m.
