Police have released the identity of the person who died in an accident along the Spur Tree Main Road in Manchester on Saturday.

She is sixty-year-old Paulette Mullings of 2 East, Greater Portmore, St. Catherine.

Miss Mullings is a former member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

Reports from the Mandeville Police are that about 2:10 p.m., Mullings was driving along the roadway when the driver of an oncoming truck lost control of the vehicle and the cement mixer fell onto her car.

She was pronounced dead at hospital.

Investigations continue.

Meanwhile two constables are nursing injuries after traffic crashes yesterday and this morning.

The latest incident occurred in Clarendon this morning. Reports to IRIE FM News are that the constable was driving along the road when he crashed into a wall along the Osbourne Store Main Road.

The accident occurred about 5:40 am

Meanwhile, the other accident occurred yesterday in ST James . The officer’s vehicle reportedly ran off the road and hit a tree along the Seven River Main Road.
