Wisynco Group Limited has sought to assure customers that there will be no disruption in the production and distribution of supplies, following last evening’s (April 1) fire, at its property in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

Wisynco Chairman, William Mahfood said the blaze, which was confined to the truck yard at the back of the property, was quickly brought under control.

Firefighters from Spanish Town, Portmore and May Pen fire stations responded and managed to extinguish the blaze.

Mr. Mahfood said no one was hurt in the incident, and the manufacturing plant and offices were not affected.

This is the latest in a series of fires to affect the company.

Prior to last evening, a fire had damaged the same property in 2016, and before that, in 2009.
