Sprint legend Usain Bolt, the fastest man alive, maybe retired, but he is definitely still making history, as American membership-only retail warehouse Sam’s Club, has called on the talents of the history-making track pair of Jamaican Usain Bolt, and American sprint athlete Allyson Felix, for their latest ad campaign.

Showcasing the necessity of speedy mobile check out technology, the record-breaking world champions engage in a speed test of scan and go, to avoid long lines at checkout, with Usain Bolt poised as the fastest shopper of all time.

According to the creatives behind the concept, in order to effectively highlight the speed of the technology, there was no doubt that the fastest human alive, and one of the greatest Olympian ever Usain Bolt, was the obvious choice, and that with Allyson Felix recently breaking Usain’s record for most World Championship medals, they decided to add her for the speed of culture.

The ad campaign which launched this week has been shared by Usain Bolt on his Instagram TV, and other social media pages, and will also appear via digital ads, social media, and paid integrations.
