Usain Bolt to launch dancehall riddim

Jamaica’s Sprint Legend Usain Bolt is channeling his love for dancehall music with the launch of a riddim.

Next week, Bolt is slated to launch his debut dancehall riddim dubbed, Olympe Rose.

Usain Bolt who openly endorses the dancehall genre on and off the track shared the news to his over 9.1 million followers on Instagram Friday.

The video captioned “we taking over”, shows Bolt in a studio along with dancehall deejays Ding Dong, Munga Honorable, Dexta Daps, Agent Sasco, and his friends, singer Christopher Martin and former football star, Ricardo Bibi Gardner.

Usain Bolt’s manager Nugent Walker in a Music News exclusive says Bolt is very excited about the project. Walker describes Olympe Rose as a real summer vibe.

Friday, July 5 is the official launch of Usain Bolt’s Olympe Rose Riddim.

This marks Usain Bolt’s latest venture since retiring from track and field.
