Retired Jamaican track and field superstar Usain Bolt is happy to be playing the role of global athletics mega-star…..but says a new leading light must emerge if the sport is to flourish in the future.
Bolt touched down on Australia’s gold coast to add some much-needed star power to the Commonwealth Games, where he played the role of medal presenter for the women’s 200 metres which included his compatriot Shericka Jackson.
The 31 year old spoke to the media at a packed press conference…..where he expressed the hope that his records remain for a long time.
Bolt meanwhile rejected claims that he will come out of retirement for the 2020 Olympics.
