Vershon calls for dancehall unity and peace

by January 9th, 2019

Dancehall deejay Vershon is urging entertainers to make 2019 a year of love, peace, and unity.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Vershon called out Spice, and D’Angel along with other females such as Jada Kingdom, Ishawana, and Dovey Magnum; hinting that it is too early for segregation.

Vershon also used the platform to bury the hatchet with Jahmiel. In the IG caption Vershon wrote in part, “So I’m gonna start by saying Happy New Year to Mavado, JahMiel, Alkaline, PopCaan, Aidonia, Masicka and Govanna.

Aidonia has since acknowledged Vershon’s caption dropping positivity under the IG post. Diddi wrote, “Upness fam, one dancehall.”

Like Aidonia, Jada Kingdom has also responded positively.

Meanwhile, dancehall heavyweights Bounty Killer and Beenie Man have both endorsed Vershon’s need for a 2019 of peace, love and unity. In the lengthy caption Vershon named Beenie and Bounty among the foundation entertainers who helped to paved the way.
