Vybz Kartel takes subtle jab at Alkaline

by December 18th, 2017

Some entertainers are weighing in after Alkaline called out Tony Matterhorn for playing a Vybz Kartel song at his party in Florida last Friday.

According to a post via Vybz Kartel’s official Instagram page, the incarcerated deejay took a subtle jab at Alkaline when he posted “What is a party without Vybz Kartel.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Vegas in an Instagram video says dancehall is in a very sad state.

In a video making the rounds on social media, Alkaline called out selector Tony Matterhorn for what he labeled a disrespectful action when the selector played a Vybz Kartel track at his party.

After referring to Matterhorn’s action as a “cat move”, Alkaline called him his friend. During the ordeal, Tony Matterhorn sported an embarrassed smirk.

On Saturday, Matterhorn addressed the issue on IG Live. In a nutshell, the selector said he did not do anything when he was being roughed up because the situation could have gotten ugly if it was not handled from a mature standpoint.

Meanwhile, the incident has left some industry players and fans questioning if selectors should be forced to take sides if two entertainers are feuding?
