The Golden State Warriors are now just two wins away from advancing to the NBA finals for the third consecutive year.
This after they raced to a crushing 136-100 win over the short-handed San Antonio spurs to take a 2-nil lead in the western conference finals.
They were led by reigning MVP Steph Curry who scored a game high 29 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
The spurs who were missing Kahwi Leonard due to injury, were led by Jonathan Simmons who had a team high 22 points.
The series now shifts to San Antonio for games 3 and 4.
Playoff action continues tonight in the meantime with the Boston Celtics hosting defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers in game one of the Eastern Conference finals.
