The Golden State Warriors have taken a one game lead in the best of -seven NBA finals after defeating defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers 113-91 in game 1 last night.

The Warriors were led by Kevin Durant’s 38 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

It was the second most individual points scored in an NBA playoff game without a turnover, as the Warriors and Durrant could do no wrong at home.

Steph curry supported in the Warriors triumph with 28 points.

Meanwhile on the losing end LeBron James led all scorers for the cavaliers with 28 points and 15 rebounds. James admitted that Durant was too good on the night.

The warriors will host game two of the seven game series on Sunday.
