Former West Indies and Jamaica batsman Wavell Hinds will continue to serve as president of the West Indies Players Association(WIPA).

This after all members of the executive were returned unopposed at Wipa’s Annual General meeting at hotel four seasons on Wednesday night.

Wayne Lewis will serve as honorary secretary for the fourth consecutive term and he told Irie Fm Sports that the confidence placed in them by their members shows the appreciation of the work being done.

Meanwhile Nixon Mclean will continue as vice-president, Liam Sebastien as assistant honorary secretary and Ridley Jacobs as treasurer for the third consecutive term.

Health insurance cards were also presented to the retained players from the Guyana Jaguars franchise at last night’s AGM.
