The golden boy of South African and World Athletics, Wayde Van Niekerk, has married his fiancé Chesney Campbell in a ceremony on the weekend.

Van Niekerk, the Olympic 400metres gold medalist and world record holder in 2016 as well as 400metres gold medal winner at the world championships in London this year, posted a picture on twitter of the couple at their marriage ceremony .

The couple were engaged on December 29 last year.
