West Indies to face Trinidad in ODI warm up

In the build up to the five game One Day International series against India the West Indies cricketers will face a select Trinidad and Tobago team in a 50- over warm-up match next Tuesday, at the National cricket Centre, Couva – Trinidad.

Seasoned international cricketers Darren Bravo, Lendl Simmons, Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree have been included in the Trinidad line up. They are complimented by Amir Jangoo, Yannic Cariah and Isaiah Rajah who represent the new generation of batting talent to emerge from Trinidad and Tobago.

Marlon Richards, who finished the first class season at the helm of the red force, will lead the Trinidad team once again.

The Indians who named their squad yesterday will play five one day international and one t/20 against the Caribbean side from June 23 to July 9.

The first game bowls off at the queen’s park oval, in Trinidad next Friday.
