by August 15th, 2017

The West Indies will have to “play exceptionally well to even compete against England”.

That’s the word according to legendary former ‘Windies fast bowler sir curtly Ambrose.

The ‘Windies have lost six consecutive test series with their most recent win coming against Bangladesh in 2014.

The team led by Jason holder heads into the first test on the back of three consecutive draws in the three-day warm up matches.

Ambrose in looking ahead says England coming off a high from beating South Africa will be hard to beat.

Ambrose in assessing the current team says he is concerned about the batting and also adds the team would be more competitive of not for the absence of a number of senior players.
