The West Indies is now the fifth ranked team in the ICC Women’s rankings.

This follows the poor performance of the Caribbean side at the World Cup in July.

Meanwhile England have become the number one ranked team in the world for the first time after knocking Australia off the top of the rankings ahead of this winter’s ashes.

England who won the World Cup in July, have 128.47 points, with second-placed Australia on 128.43 points.

It is the first time Australia have slipped from first place since the rankings were introduced in 2015.

New Zealand at three and India in fourth place are also ahead of the ‘Windies’ women while South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Ireland completes the top ten sides.
