West Indies slips to 9th in the latest ICC T/20 International rankings

The struggles of the West Indies team continued today, after they slipped in the latest ICC T/20 international rankings.

The Caribbean men who have had a less than ideal 2019 in all formats of the game are now ranked 9th on the ICC T/20 International table after slipping one place from eight.

The West Indies have been overtaken by Sri-Lanka and Afghanistan.

Afghanistan is now 8th and Sri Lanka moving up to seventh.

In the meantime, Pakistan remains number 1 in T20 International rankings.

The Sarfaraz Ahmed-led side is at top of the chart with 274 points, while England sits second with 266 points. They are followed by South Africa third with 262 points while India remains at number 4 with 261 and Australia rounds out the top five .

New Zealand, lies sixth, with Bangladesh at the foot of the table.
