Who will win the Grammy for Best Reggae Album?

With only 13-days to go before the 63rd annual Grammy awards, Reggae/Dancehall fans and industry players continue to speculate on who will win the 2021 Reggae Grammy?

Vying for the coveted Best Reggae album title are Buju Banton for ‘Upside Down 2020’, Skip Marley for ‘Higher Place’, Maxi Priest for ‘It All Comes Back To Love’, Toots and The Maytals for ‘Got To Be Tough’ and The Wailers for ‘One World’.

Skip Marley is also nominated in the Best R&B song category for ‘Slow Down’ featuring H.E.R.

International producer Stephen Di Genius and Koffee are also in the running for a Grammy certificate with the nomination of John Legend’s album, Bigger Love in the Best R&B album category. Stephen Di Genius is listed as one of the producers on the album, while Koffee is featured on the track, ‘Don’t Walk Away.’

The ceremony originally scheduled for January 31, was postponed on January 5, due to a spike in COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles as well as health and safety concerns.

The 63rd GRAMMY Awards which recognize recordings released between Sept. 1, 2019, and Aug. 31, 2020, will air on CBS on Sunday, March 14.
