by May 14th, 2015

Detectives from the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) arrested a St. Andrew woman on Wednesday for suspected breaches of the forgery act.

MOCA says the woman was picked-up during an operation in the Corporate Area.

It is being alleged that the woman, who was employed as an office attendant, stole and fraudulently prepared cheques amounting to millions of dollars, which were later cashed.

A report was made to MOCA and an investigation launched.

MOCA says she will be interviewed in the presence of her attorney, after which charges will be proffered.
