The union which represents workers at Dunn’s River Falls and Park in St Ann is holding a meeting with members this evening (May 19) to discuss responses to concerns sent earlier this afternoon.

The Bustamante Industrial Trade Union (BITU) had earlier indicated that the workers, who are assigned to the Urban Development Corporation’s subsidiary, St. Ann Development Company Limited were restive.

BITU Vice President Rudolph Thomas said the workers are upset about several issues.

These include outstanding incentive payments, outstanding uniforms, and a delay in commencing consultations with their union about implementation of the recently concluded public sector compensation system.

Thomas expressed hope that the matters can be resolved speedily.
