The Western Regional Health Authority (WRHA) now has its own facilities in Fairview Montego Bay, St. James.

This after services had to be relocated from the Cornwall Regional Hospital because of noxious fumes.

Staff at the Western Regional Health Authority had been relocated to various temporary locations because of the situation at Cornwall Regional Hospital.

Regional Director of the WRHA Dr. Ken Garfield Douglas says with the establishment of the new facilities at Fairview, staff can resume offering support services to the hospitals and health centres in the region.

He was speaking at the recent opening ceremony of the facility.
